Kenzan (Spiky Frog) - Brass Round
Authentic kenzan (also known as spiky frogs) for use in ikebana, or other styles of flower arrangements. Made in Japan to the highest quality standards and available in different styles and shapes. The round shaped kenzan is available in a range of sizes, which allows for either single stem flowers to be arranged individually, or for a larger arrangement in a shallow or tall vessel. The plant material is placed directly in the spikes. It has a heavy base to keep the flowers upright and can be immersed in water.
Round sizes available in brass:
- Size 101: 21mm (diameter) x 17mm (H) - 37 spikes / 23g
- Size 102: 36mm (diameter) x 18mm (H) - 61 spikes / 75g
- Size 103: 46mm (diameter) x 18mm (H) - 91 spikes / 120g
- Size 104: 61mm (diameter) x 21mm (H) - 168 spikes / 247g (not currently available)
- Size 105: 71mm (diameter) x 21mm (H) - 271 spikes / 318g
Sizes 101, 102 and 103 have no rubber ring.
Sizes 104 and up come with a removable rubber ring at the base.
The round style kenzan are also available in Stainless Steel and Black.
