Ojami Cushion
The Ojami Cushion is a unique cushion designed by Takokaya's 3rd generation CEO, Koichiro Takaoka. It is designed to sit on the floor in a slightly raised position, or to use as a back or arm support. It is ideal as a meditation cushion.
The design is inspired by the ancient Japanese beanbag toy called otedama (ojami in the Kyoto dialect).
The design combines classic Japanese design motifs in an indigo colour with a solid colour in alternating quarters.

Takaokaya is a family-owned business established in 1919 in Kyoto, Japan. The company specialises in creating handcrafted relaxation products. This includes futons, bedding and cushions. As Koichiro Takaoka, third generation CEO explains:
